At its inception, this album emerged from the seed of just two songs, envisioned as a heartfelt birthday gesture for a special someone whose identity remains shrouded in anonymity. However, what began as a modest token of affection blossomed into a three-month odyssey of creation and expression, resulting in the birth of my first album, "Khardiology." This musical endeavor is a deeply personal chronicle, weaving tales of my intoxicated romantic tribulations and the aftermath of my tumultuous poetry, resulting in a break-up upon the album's release.

While my lyrical inclinations might occasionally lead to verbosity, each word serves as a poignant brushstroke, crafting a canvas where nuances and imperfections mirror the symbolism of my emotional wounds seeping into the rhythmic breaks and makeshift remedies. It's a raw, unfiltered portrayal of my inner world.

Truthfully, the decision to release this record was not something I initially embraced. Over the last decade, my musical contributions have found homes within the bands PhotoSynthesizers and THE MEM. However, as I venture into the realm of new releases, I find it imperative to sketch a timeline that contextualizes my artistic evolution. Thus, after a remarkable 16-year journey, I've chosen to make "Khardiology" available for digital download.

Originally unveiled on July 24, 2004, boasting a concise lineup of 13 songs and a limited run of 300 copies, "Khardiology: Open Heart Surgery Redux" now sees the light of day. This revamped edition includes three additional bonus tracks, recorded in the aftermath of the album's initial release, delving into familiar themes of headaches, heartbreaks, and beat-break-ups.

So, without further ado, I present to you my inaugural album, "Khardiology: Open Heart Surgery Redux," accompanied by the bonus tracks "Faded," "Nevus Reactions Live Studio Session," and "Stranded."
